Build A School started work in Malawi and is working hard to establish Tickbird, a sustainable living visitor centre open to adults and children. We also work with the UK Department for International Development by providing additional classrooms to Malawi’s most needed communities.

Build A School also partners organisations in school build programmes in India and the Philippines.

The 4 acres purchased by Build A School will allow us to develop a centre to teach sustainable development. There will be land available to showcase- with expert support – the best approaches to sustainable living in Malawi. This will include building using the latest environmentally sound materials and renewable energies. Space will also be provided to demonstrate the most effective and sustainable use of goats, with an acre of agricultural land dedicated to showcasing the best crops and useful plants.
